Evaluating a Frame

Framing matches very well to the original video. The corner is almost central to the frame. One model is positioned above the others, to the right, similar to the original. Could have used a longer shot. The professional shoot has placed their models in the centre of the frame so that more focus can be put on them, so less is on their surroundings.

Relied on ambient lighting. Different to original, a lot brighter. Not too harsh however. The professional shoot would have used their lighting in a more focused way, in which it highlights the models and darkens their surroundings. The use of the fairy lights above the models can give the illusion that the light is ambient.

Models could have similar outfits, like in the original, as well as sunglasses. Could have a model standing over instead of sitting on the table. Could also push them closer together. The use of mirrors would also allow for a more matched sot to the original.

We used a hand held camera on purpose to match the original shot. Could have used a longer shot to get the right hand model's whole body in. We could also have used a zoom effect to match the original video, however this was difficult as we had no rails or a tripod to stop unnecessary shaking when moving closer.

Models kept straight faces, like in the original video. The right model looks into the lens whilst the left doesn’t. They sat still which added to the effect seen in the original video.
